I recently discoved the joys of oven roasted garlic. I love the way the garlic looks when its cut open pre-roast. So i took a portrait pic'.

When I think still life I think flowers or fruit. We didn't have any flowers in the house, so I decided to draw this very interesting piece of asparagus instead. I found it a good way to appreciate the asparagus completely, it was a much longer look than I'd usually give it and really it is a rather fascinating vegetable!
