Soul Knocking Challenge: DOLLS!!

New challenge!! ^_^

Not sure how your jigsaws are evolving, but thought i'd throw a new creative spanner in the works, keep us all on our artistic toes..

So our challenge?
A doll :)

It can be sewn or paper or plastic or clay...or from any other substance your heart desires...cake? ;)

...human or non-human, as small as the palm of your hand, or maybe life-size?? May our imaginations run wild and free with this one..

I'm giving us 3 months.. so the only requirements are that we craft a doll into existence and that he/she be born by the last day of October. Can't wait to see your pix!

If any of us should feel so inspired, we could post pix of our dolls under construction.. share the creative process..?

Enjoy! :)

Shell's owl doll...first pics...

a sneak peek of my owl. he's a round corduroy brown, with flowered green and cream cord tummy, eye patches, feathers, and pockets under his wings...

Deb's fox-doll.. sketchy plans :)

A sketchy idea of my soon-to-be-stitched fox-doll ^^
...birth of a fox :) Pattern all cut out and ready to sew. He's still missing a tail! Still hunting for some 'fluffy white' faux fur to be its bushy end.. am feeling a little guilty about my inclination to buy a cheap snow-white christmas teddy and sacrifice it to the cause.. but where else does one get such luxurious fabrics when in a small country town? ;)
