i love flying. i love everything about it. the height, the views from above with everything on earth looking surreal and tiny - making me feel tiny, but inspired that it's a small world and curious to see more, the little packages of food that come out, everything neatly folded and wrapped, the excitement of a new destination and adventure, being treated to movies and uninterrupted time to draw and think and chat. i marvel at how such a big steel bird could become so light and agile, especially with all of us dining and sleeping in its belly.
