When I think still life I think flowers or fruit. We didn't have any flowers in the house, so I decided to draw this very interesting piece of asparagus instead. I found it a good way to appreciate the asparagus completely, it was a much longer look than I'd usually give it and really it is a rather fascinating vegetable!

Shell, I'm amazed at how beautiful you can make a single vegetable. you should do a series of different veges &/or fruit and put them in little frames in your tiny kitchen!
