Retreading old ground - by Debb

Once upon a time, about a year ago and in the midst of an icy cold winter, I began to paint a picture of warmth. More than a year later, with plenty of distractions in between, i unearthed it in my cupboard, incomplete. So i've been retreading old ground. Such a delight delving into old imaginings and reviving them anew.

You can see the old incomplete pic' here:

Do you have any old ground to retread?

She's gorgeous. So cosy and warm, despite the rain outside. What a comfy hidey-hole to hibernate in. I love her stripy pyjamas too Debb!

I too have some old ground to rediscover. One of my part-finished creations is my owl doll, still tucked neatly into the compartment under one of our lounge chair foot rests. Here's my original post if you want to remember him: http://soulknocking.blogspot.com/2008/07/shells-owl-dollfirst-pics.html .Not a lot has happened since these pics, but maybe he'll keep growing soon. Thanks for the inspiration Debb.

this pic actually makes me feel cosy, with the dripping rain and dry umbrella, the crackly heater and the warm jumpsuit and rug......
