Discovered Michi Girl's art as i ambled through a bookstore the other day. Loved her pix and style, so decided i'd do my 'My Fave Artist' pic' in honour of her, being my favourite artist of the moment. debb this might be the artist i was talking about that does work for vogue - if not she's similar. there really is some amazing artists out there huh? including you!
Oh wow. Debb, I love her. She reminds me of the redheads matches girl, but classier. And, I just love your use of watercolours - your style is really inspiring me to try to really loosen up with the paintbrush. Fantastic!
Michi Girl is actually the art and words of a group of girls who work together (and maybe a guy?) Called Ortolan. The words are by one of the girls and the artist is Kat Macleod, she also does the packaging for Bloom beauty products. I bought the book recently, the artwork is just beautiful! Worth the money just for that. :)
