Family Tree - by Deb

To my utter delight, i discovered that my camera has a time-lapse video function. No need to say, the discovery inspired a cascade of experimental movie-making, one of which is of me creating my Family Tree for this week's post. Enjoy :)

I think i need to add a small disclaimer here...well, a bit of an apology really. This w/e was a obviously one of discovery, for i also discovered that, despite a whole lifetime of looking at the faces of the one's i love, drawing realistic sketches of them is uber-challenging! So, to my family, i know you're all way more gorgeous (and that there's actually a lot more of you!!) in real life. But still, i loved doing this topic... i wonder if you can pick which sketch is you?

WOW AGAIN! I love it - such a cool idea - what kind of camera did you use? Really, really great to watch the creation taking shape and evolving.

thanku! :D

rather low-tech' on the creation side of things. Used a Canon IXUS70 (little hand-held digital camera), that was attached to the arm of my lounge-room lamp with a rubber band :)

that is sooooooo cool! I'm inspired to try something like that. And maybe even try it with the kids.
Such an awesome idea. You really are a creative being and all your stuff is so different, you explore so many different mediums. Inspiring.
